hela Sverige Our Clients' Quality Services Regression section is globally responsible for regression test services within the Modem organization. The Client is looking for a Test Development Engineer to work with test case design and automated regression test system, test environment configuration and maintenance. The work is done in close collaboration with other test organizations. Location: Lund
About the position
As a Test Development Engineer, you will be involved in development of regression test strategies for the product releases and review and enhance test scripts and automation test environments in preparation for different Product releases. You will also:
• Support test planning based on analysis of requirements and design documents.
• Execute systems, regression, and quality testing to ensure all development deliverables are ready for be used in the day-to-day work.
• Multi-task between current releases, install activities, and prioritize task for next release.
• Monitor and resolve testing issues.
• Manage testing tasks concurrently on multiple projects.
• Trouble-shoot the test system issues.
• May act as technical resource to other testers. The work is mostly performed in lab environment.
Required competence
You must have a Bachelor degree or higher in Electronic or Computer Science and experienced with the system integration and managing the quality of released products through regression testing.
Key skills include system testing, regression testing, maintaining integration and automated frameworks.
Excellent communication skills are of importance. Good written English and able to cope under pressure with a smile.
Some knowledge in C, Python or similar programming language is required. Also some knowledge in CM tools like Rational Clear Case or similar.
Since the Client is an actor within the telecom business, we believe that you have a background within telecom and mobile communication.
