Publiceringsdatum2010-08-21Dina arbetsuppgifterThe purpose of this position is to ensure optimal implementation, support and maintenance of test solutions and test equipment. As the test engineer you will work to enhance and maintain test solution software, hardware, instrument drivers and faultfinding equipment. You also investigate and solve test and product related problems and deficiencies, as well as develop design tools and faultfinding equipment in order to ensure decided quality, cost and the ability to produce our products.
As a test development engineer you also keep all test systems up to date with product driven changes to test.
The test development engineer is expected to educate other groups of engineers within test and product areas to ensure competence in the organisation and at other sites.
The test development engineer is also expected to travel abroad when required, and you will work with several nationalities both in person and at distance.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You should have a university degree in engineering and/or several years of experience as a test engineer or similar line of work.
We want you to have very good knowledge of PC-software, electronics and measurement methodology as well as RF, programming (C++/C#) and data com.
You have good knowledge from the Ericsson technical IS/IT and engineering environment and it also of importance that you have telecommunications knowledge or experience.
Since you will be working with engineers from different parts of the world it is of importance that you understand and accept cultural differences and are comfortable with both reading and speaking technical English and Swedish.
