Who are we?
The Visibility Functions Team within Vehicle Top-Hat Solution and Exterior Systems ART, have the responsibility to develop the visibility, cleaning & mirror functions, systems, and SW to provide the best customer user experience in our future vehicles. Together with the team you will develop and execute highly effective test solutions and test cases for fast and robust SW development providing excellent customer functions.

What will you do?
As a Test Developer with an analysis and verification focus, you work in an agile cross-functional team. You use your test expertise to take an active role in coaching your team members in all matters relating to quality from a test perspective. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring testability while designing architecture or developing a function, writing and sometimes guiding the team to write test cases, and automating tests for regression testing. As a team player in an agile cross-functional team, you do what is necessary to achieve the team goals. Therefore, you will also learn and gain insights from other disciplines in the team.
Your main tasks will be:
• Coaching your agile team in test-related activities during design and development,
• Designing, implementing, and running test methods in an automated test environment,
• Developing features in the test automation framework to enable more automated testing,
• Reporting test results and appropriating recommendations to stakeholders,
• Analyzing defects and issues.

Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in this role we believe you have a university degree preferably in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent and relevant former experience from working with quality assurance of complex embedded systems as a Test Developer. In case you need to visit facilities while working, you need to have a valid B driving license. In addition, since you will work in a global setting, we expect you to be fluent in English.
It is meritorious if you have:
• Experience in automotive and Body / Comfort systems development,
• Experience in working with CANoe, Jenkins, and other test frameworks,
• Experience from working with Volvo systems such as Elektra, CarCom, or System/Car Weaver,
• Experience in test automation, programming, or model-based development/testing.

Competence and experience are important, but personality is key!
As a member of our team, you must be motivated and with a high-level curiosity for analyzing. In addition, to become successful in this role, being creative and innovative will be beneficial for you. Last but not least, team collaboration is also important, you need to be in close cooperation within the team and among stakeholders in the process.
