What you will be doing
You will be a part of a team of friendly and passionate professionals, who are eager to constantly learn new things. The team is accountable for test automation in SEB. Application of best agile practices, collaboration with other teams in Delivery Accelerator Tribe to enable efficient development and built-in quality, and interaction with stakeholders (internal SEB development teams) is an important part of our daily work. We use Browserstack, Selenium, Selenium GRID, Ready API, Postman, UFT, GitHub Enterprise Azure DevOps, OpenShift, Docker EE etc.
As Test Automation Engineer you will be responsible for:
• Creating new and updating existing automated solutions and automation frameworks;
• Supporting existing and introducing new automation tools and solutions;
• Integrating test automation capabilities into DevOps toolchains;
• Supporting other SEB development teams in their test automation journey.
Who we are looking for
• A team player with solid knowledge and 2+ years of experience in test automation or programming (any of the languages: Java, .NET, JavaScript);
• Willingness to work with different test automation tools and develop new test automation solutions / frameworks yourself;
• A proactive, self-driven problem solver, able to take leadership and act quickly;
• Fluency in English and good communication skills;
• A curious mindset, willingness to develop yourself, share your knowledge and help others;
• Interest in both existing and new methodologies and tools, as well as willingness to bring new solutions to SEB.
It would be considered as advantage if you:
• Have good understanding and are passionate about DevSecOps and continuous testing;
• Have technical knowledge in how to build and run applications for different platforms, experience in working with containers (Docker, OpenShift), infrastructure as code, automation and continuous integration;
• Are able to coach more junior engineers, support others with setting the right development process and effective testing;
• Have experience in enterprise environment (preferably financial or IT sectors).
