Driver Interaction and Infotainment is one of the fastest growing areas within Automotive today. Competition is not only limited to traditional automotive competitors. Innovative and fast moving companies in the tech industry are influencing competition heavily. Volvo Cars has successfully launched a cutting edge Driver Interaction and Infotainment system, and is committed to continuous success.
The group Interaction Analysis and Verification consists of 16 team members. We are responsible for system, function and component analysis and verification of the Driver Information Module (DIM), Centre Stack Display (CSD) and Head up Display (HUD), within the feature areas Driver Information, Vehicle Functions and HMI Core. Infotainment complete validation is also part of the group's responsibilities.
Your role will be to work with the feature area Vehicle Functions with a clear focus on test automation. This includes implementation and execution of automated test cases, development of the test automation framework and eventually becoming a test automation mentor inspiring colleagues around you.
Main responsibilities
* Design test methods for an automated test environment
* Implement and run automated test cases
* Develop features in the test automation framework to enable more extensive testing
* Report test results and appropriate recommendations to project management
Required qualifications
* Minimum a B.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Former experience from working with quality assurance of complex embedded systems
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Valid driver's license B
Meritorious qualifications
* Experience from Automotive and Infotainment area
* Experience of working with CANoe, Jenkins or the Robot Framework
* Experience from working with Volvo systems such as Elektra, CarCom or SystemWeaver.
* Experience of programming or model based development / testing
