As a web tester at the Kindred Stockholm office you'll be working with people from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about what they do. We believe in releasing small and often. At Kindred there will always be exciting new technologies to explore and interesting problems to solve.
If you love to test responsive web built on popular technologies you'll fit right in. At Kindred we build distributed systems that handle millions of transactions each day. Our development teams delivers new features on a daily basis, doing thousands of releases every year.
What will you be doing?
o Testing software releases during product development
o Conducting cross-browser manual testing of web based software on desktop and mobile devices
o Collaborating with development team to identify the testing requirements
o Testing without the use of scripts
o Reporting software defects and work with development team to resolve them
o Documenting and communicating findings and software quality
o Designing a test strategy/test plan
o As a tester you will be responsible for testing multiple brands
What have you done?
o Excellent communication skills
o Previous work experience as a software tester
o Knowledge in common test design techniques
o Ability to think critically and to conduct testing with a tester mindset
o Excellent attention to details, problem solving skills and natural curiosity
o A drive to learn and adapt to the changing landscape of testing
o A willingness to learn and develop your testing skills and knowledge
o An understanding of the software development process
o An analytical and systematic approach to testing
Desired skills and experience include
o Experience testing ReactJS/Redux web applications
o Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
o Experience working with complicated back end systems
o Familiarity with service-oriented architecture
