At Refined, we are on a mission to help teams collaborate better. Our software turns native Confluence, Jira and Jira Service Management content into themed, easy-to-use intranets, service desks, issue trackers, knowledge bases and more.
As a Test automation engineer you will be assuring that our customers get the experience they expect when using our cloud products. Your work will impact thousands of users around the world, ranging from people in tiny start ups to global enterprises. You will be a part of a cross-functional, agile team and work closely with developers, product manager and UX/UI.
The testing itself is done in a context driven way. That means that you will get to decide what is the best approach for the different situations, some of the testing will be exploratory, some of it will be automated. Our front end and end-to-end tests are written with Cypress.
We are looking for someone who's experience and expertise will take our testing practises to the next level. We want you to influence our testing strategies to make sure they work well for our products, in our context. Big part of your role will be analysing feature requirements and creating test plans as well as executing them. We believe in "shift left" testing.
There's a lot of autonomy in this role and you'll need to be self motivated and a self starter to be happy in the role.
We put a lot of focus on quality and we take pride in things we ship out to customers. We work with realistic goals and don't rush releases out the door. We aim to do things well.
What you'll need to succeed in this role
3+ years experience as a tester, preferably web applications
At least a general understanding of agile principles
Experience in working with some test automation tool like Cypress or Selenium
Familiar or interested to learn more about CI/CD and executing tests reliably as part of the pipeline
Curiosity and eagerness to learn new things and develop yourself professionally
