Who are we

We are the Test Automation team in the section Product Integration within Vehicle Software Factory. The team has a mission to provide a tool chain for automated tests at the system level of truck software. There are two parts to the team; one that develops the framework and one that develops test cases. You will be joining the test case developers; those are developing test cases that will be run fully automated on trucks and in our Hardware-In-the-Loop-rigs. Our team is called TA (Test Automation), we are a diverse team, the team members are always ready to help each other and have fun together.

What you will do

As a Test Automation Developer, you will be part of a team of skilled engineers with responsibility to develop the test cases at the system level, which is based on EUF (end-user function) requirements of the products and fault tracing of the test results. We're seeking individuals with some experience in Automotive and C++. This will give you an excellent opportunity to broaden your knowledge at a system level within automation. Our main stakeholders are the software development streams who look into the results, investigate the failures, and fix them leading to a quality software.

Key responsibilities:
* Develop new test cases based on the product requirements.
* Fault tracing failures to determine if the failure comes from the testing method, the test environment, or the product.
* Continuously work with improvement on our ability to create a better product.

Requirements:
* B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Embedded Software Engineering, or equivalent education.
* 5+ years of programming/development experience in C++, within the automotive industry. System level knowledge is meritorious.
* Experience from requirement interpretation to test case implementation.
* Proven programming skills in C++, C# is a plus.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
