Connected Experience is a unit within R&D which includes Infotainment, Connectivity- and Car Cloud Platform, Remote Functions, Data- & Diagnostics Platform as well as HW & Mechatronics. The eART Solution Integration & Release is supporting the complete product stream by continuously integrating our products into a domain and by releasing end-to end verified products according to the needs of the car projects.

Our mission is to provide fast and valuable feedback about the quality status of our product stream covering both current- and future models and to support and give guidance for the total need for verification tools, frameworks and test objects and set up test environments for both ART verification and Solution Integration testing. Now we are looking for curious, creative people who want to change the world through innovative thinking - specifically a passionate Test Architect and Test Lead for Connected Experience.

What you will do
As a Test architect / Test Lead within Connected Experience your responsibilities would be to develop strategic plans for testing efforts and create test estimates and define reusable testing assets for large/complex projects. You will work together with CI architect to develop test automation frameworks as well as provide technical leadership and support the creation of complex tests

This role will be supporting the Test Manager in achieving their strategic goals for the Test Team by providing technical support to the Manager and the team. You will possess broad awareness of testing approaches, practices and techniques in order to help design and deliver the overall testing methodology used by the team.

You will have the ability to monitor the effectiveness of the testing function and bring about improvements through insights gained via analysis at all stages of the SDLC/STLC. You will identify what tools and technologies can be implemented, aligning with that already used across the broader development function and in-line with the skill-set of the team.

You will also design and develop the test automation framework, harnesses and code libraries to enable the team to both use and enhance them across successive projects.

You will take responsibility for test infrastructure including environments and software, liaising with teams such as DevOps and Support in areas such as CI/CR and IT budgets along with providing technical know-how, documentation and training to test and other business functions. You are to stay up to speed on process, practice and technology developments to ensure they are brought in-house and enhance the solutions applied to the testing problems.

You are to bring best practice and innovation to our development teams as well as grow and mature the capability of the labs to meet demand from both a capacity and skill set perspective. You will drive and document the Re-Use concept (in terms of hardware and software) at all levels of the product test development in order to reduce time-to-market and maximize product quality. You will define strategies, standard approaches, methodology and architecture for test automation services. You are to remain current with market developments, recommend new test automation technologies and leading practices. You are to conduct automation assessments, perform tool analysis, make recommendations and selections. Define common tools platform for test automation across technologies and platforms. Design and develop automation framework architecture and components

Who are you?
To thrive in this position, we believe that you have a background as a leader within test and SW architecture.

You would have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong people management, collaboration and communication skills are essential when working in a diverse and international setting. It is also important that you are continuously developing your own skills and guide and coach all our teams to continuously develop theirs. You bring strong written/verbal communication skills, problem resolution, good judgment, presentation, and decision-making skills required. You should bring 7-10 years of experience in testing or development with solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.

You should bring prior experience of development or testing for Connected services. Ability to organize and lead testing efforts and the ability to write a test approach/strategy. You should carry a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or technical degree as well as experience with testing services in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud is a big plus.

You should have at least 3 years experience in the planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of non-functional tests using appropriate testing tools and techniques.

You would bring experience participating in all aspects of large-scale mission critical projects including creation, identification, design, development, testing, implementation and production. You also carry strong experience in gathering test requirement from customers, PMs and reading document, papers, familiar with risk based test design, test cases automation, implementation and execution, good test resource/planning and judgment knowledge.

You would bring strong understanding of querying languages such as SQL , programming languages Java, C++, Python as well as approximately 15+ years of related Electrical Engineering experience.
