We think that you have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with experience from verification and testing of products within the field of electronics. You have the ability to plan and prioritize your tasks, assignments and responsibility and we put great emphasis on the importance of communication and inter personal skills in order to present progress and status to stakeholders. You are analytical and have good understanding of testing and documentation and are able to practice this in the areas of environmental, climate, shock, vibration testing on our products. You will also need good skills in talking to and coordinating external test houses.
HARDWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE TEAM
The Hardware Quality Assurance team has the focus for product testing, verification and validation of the mechanical components in our products. Our primary goal is to make sure that all products leaving the R&D organization keep the quality goals and levels that we have decided. Our internal interfaces are designers, project managers and product management.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a test engineer you will work closely with the design teams to translate requirements to measurable test cases. You will also have the responsibility to develop test plans and will be given a uniqe possibility to influence test and verification methods to be used.
Your primary tasks till be:
• Execute testing of Axis' product from a mechanics perspective
• Write and develop test instructions
• Supply test and verification knowledge to the project and design teams.
