In this position the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven capability and experience in testing, verification, test rig operation and development roles as well as experience from integration of the electric drive system technology in electric and hybrid power trains. The main responsibilities will be to: Provide the Volvo Group with technical support and expertise within your competence area i.e. testing and verification with electric machines and drives technologyBecome an integral member of an MDS Agile Scrum TeamContribute in the development and restructuring of test rigsSupport and contribute in technical dialogue with suppliers and partnersPlan and Participate in verification and testing activities for systems and sub-systemsStay abreast with new technologyWho are you? You qualify if you have:Experienced in a test, development environment - test set up, instrumentation, logging, fault tracing analysis, data processing and reportingDeep knowledge of electric machine, inverter and control systems (preferably permanent magnet synchronous machine drives)Understanding of vehicle communication system and interface with inverter and electric machine systems (CAN, CAN open)Strong knowledge of specific analysis software tools (e.g CANoe, CANalyzer, Vision, Matlab, Famos, DewesoftExperience in building, developing, maintaining and operating dynamometer rigsExcellent problem solving techniquesExperience with test code developmentGood organization and documentation abilitiesAbility to manage & support multiple activities (time management skills)What can we offer?You get an opportunity to work together with highly skilled colleagues in an exciting, global environment which provides opportunities to develop both professionally and personally.
