Seco Business Demand Office consists of Demand Managers for our business processes as well as Business and Information Architects. Our mission is to support the business with relevant IT services and information needed to reach given objectives, as well as to understand business processes and the strategic gaps to propose enhancements within our IT services. We actively contribute to creating strategic roadmaps and tactical plans in order to increase business value and decrease risks. We are now looking for a Test and Release Manager for an exciting role where you will develop an integrated process for test and release.
The location is preferably Fagersta, Sweden, but any of our offices globally is possible.
Key performance areas
In this position, you are responsible for the Test and Release Management process, including scheduling, coordinating and managing releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios. You provide tools and services to help project management and teams manage and deploy releases in production, and you are responsible for implementing and improving release processes from code through development, test and production environments. Responsibility for user acceptance, regression and load-test of new and existing systems is included, as well as responsibility for the process of creating test cases, planning and coordination, and finally leading and follow up of tests performed against test scenarios. Our regression testing should be automated to the highest level possible without risking the quality.
Working closely with the project managers from different projects across the IT landscape to centralize the view of all releases, you continually work with improvement of our test and release strategies, processes and test tools and take responsibility for building the IT Release Calendar.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent. You have previous experience from working with testing through agile development, creating test strategies and plans, automated testing and from release management for software. Experience from process modelling, system development and data modeling and project management is also needed to succeed. As we operate in an international setting, you have good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
