The Global Test & Quality Assurance Manager (QA) will coordinate, lead, and continuously improve our testing and QA activities for Dometic's global IT delivery thus becoming a key player in our global IT solution delivery. The successful candidate should bring a professional level knowledge in test methodologies and tools for functional and non-functional testing. Further key skills we look for are process knowledge in primarily eCommerce and ERP solutions with focus on understanding the business impact and risks.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality and testing to join in on the next steps of Dometic's change journey within IT. The Test & QA manager will play a vital role in our newly established global IT organization and is expected to operate on a global basis, in global projects, where the Stockholm functions are the hub. The role will work in close cooperation with the CIO, Team Leads, Project Managers, Business stakeholders and Application Managers. The position is based in Stockholm.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and drive test strategies to secure that the right quality is achieved in all aspects of our application's life cycles
Drive, execute and coordinate the appropriate QA activities in our development and maintenance projects adhering to overall project plans
Build and retain a virtual team for performing the testing activities acting in both a mentoring and functional leader capacity
Involvement in early project phases to secure that the application quality activities are considered and correctly estimated in our project plan
Take a leading role in digitalization of testing using automated tests and other supporting tools for and efficient QA process
Management reporting with regular status and KPI reporting that reflects the solution quality to project managers and other stakeholders
Who are we looking for
Qualifications and Experience
We believe that the ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experiences:
+5 years professional experience as test manager or equivalent
• 5 years in project managerial roles, preferable in E-commerce and/or ERP implementations. Experience from implementation projects in ERP (D365), E-commerce (Episerver) would be considered a great advantage
Knowledge about key business processes for a manufacturing and distributing company (E.g. O2C, P2P) with focus on how to create optimal end to end testing
Advanced English skills, written and spoken.
