As Test and Automation Engineer for the RTS test system, you will be integrated in a team that locally consists of test engineers, application developers and application specialists. The tests are performed within our product development programs as well as services for our customers.
Your responsibilities
Developing and maintaining our RTS test systems, running on PC based platforms, consisting of tools for engineering of test cases and configuring test objects.
Executing tests and controlling external equipment, automated test result assessments, reporting and storage of results.
Developing testing cases, including the execution, analysis, documenting and reporting of tests and test results.
Collaborating in our global R&D development environment within Grid Automation Products as well as interacting with international end customers that enables building a platform for a sustainable career within ABB Power Grids and provide an opportunity to broaden one 's network.

Your background
A Bachelor 's or Master 's degree in Electrical Engineering or in a similar field.
Knowledge of C++ programming as well as development/simulation software tools such as, MATLAB, PSS/E, RTDS etc. or parts thereof.
A few years working experience with Power Grids Protection and Control equipment and their applications.
Power Systems commissioning engineer experience, is a plus.
An analytical mind with a strong focus on detail and quality, and at the same time being able to grasp the bigger picture.
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
Fluency in English, oral and written alike.
