Service Engineering & Information Management (SEIM) is a global function within After Market Technology (AMT) represented in 5 global sites (Gothenburg, Lyon, Greensboro, Curitiba and Bangalore). We deliver repair, maintenance and diagnostic information, as well as special tools required for the aftermarket service support. The end users of our services are the workshop mechanics, staff who deliver repair & maintenance for the vehicle owners as well as the driver of trucks.

We are now looking for a Terminology Leader.
This position is important from AB Volvo point of view, to ensure consistency in the choice of terms and to secure legislation within the area such as the upcoming Repair and Maintenance Information legislation initiated by EU. Using terminology sure of aim for naming i.e components or systems is key when producing service and repair information.
As Terminology Leader you are responsible for investigating, approving, releasing and maintaining new and existing terms within the automotive business.

Job description:
Lead terminology networks within Volvo Group to reach, high quality terms to be used in product project. Your networks include all business areas in Volvo Group.
Drive the development of the new terminology database.
Promote the importance of using decided terminology within the company for consistency.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a person who has
Interest in automotive technology and in the area of languages.
Excellent English skills, written and spoken
Excellent communication skills
Master of Science degree or equivalent university degree
Personality profile:
As the preferred candidate you are structured and systematic. You like the combination of language and the latest automotive technology. You drive for results, have a strong ability to create networks with the people you work with and have excellent communication skills. You are a leader within the terminology area with the ability to create win-win solutions. You have a positive and constructive attitude.
