In the role as terminologist you will be able to combine your interest in language and terminology with a customer focus to ensure that we develop and apply standardized and consistent terminology. We are looking for someone to be part of developing the terminology area in an automotive technology context. We value your analytic and structured approach and your open-minded and continuous improvement mindset. Your ability to reach out and to convey enthusiasm is highly appreciated. The work is conducted from a Volvo Group perspective, in cross-functional networks in cooperation with product development and technical communication. You will work in a team together with a terminology leader, a translation coordinator and a language advisor.
Your main tasks will be
Standardize terminology to improve the consistency of existing terms
Develop terminology, work proactively in product projects to align new terminology
Communicate the importance of using agreed terminology within the company for consistency
Drive changes and development to optimize tools and way of working

We are looking for a person with these qualifications
Great interest in language
Enjoys working with automotive technology
Excellent English and Swedish skills, written and spoken
Experience in standardization and/or quality work
University degree
