HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
Join our Sales & Orders department within HVDC Valves. We manage tenders and deliver electric power converters and optic measuring devices for HVDC and GPQS applications.
As a tender manager for HVDC and SVC Valves, you are responsible for the deliveries of tenders for Greenfield projects for HVDC as well as delivering tenders to the Grid Integration part of Hitachi Energy.

Your responsibilities
You will prepare and deliver commercial and technical tenders to the right cost, delivery time, risks and scope.
Lead a team of engineers and in collaboration with them ensure that the correct design is tendered.
Work closely and communicate with product management, purchasing and production functions.
Structure and drive communication for your tenders towards HVDC Tender team as well as towards Grid Integration.
You will present tender material towards end customers.
Continuously work on and further improving our calculations, processes and quality assurance.
You will be driving department initiatives.
Your background
You are structured, driven and like to continuously improve processes and come with new ideas.
You should thrive in a position where you have the opportunity of creating networks, cherish human relations as well as working independently towards clear deadlines.
Proactive attitude towards identifying and executing tenders and improvements.
Project management experience and/or a business- or engineering degree.
Fluent in both English and Swedish, written and spoken.
A good knowledge of Excel.
Regarded as an advantage with previous experience of working with SVC or HVDC applications.
