Oriflame is now looking for a Temporary Global Buyer to cover a maternity leave .
Your responsibilities ?Be responsible for and manage NPD projects from brief stage to delivery from a procurement perspective to ensure products are developed with the right supplier and cost
• Liaise with the other functions in the category to ensure that the right decisions are made for supplier selection
• Give input and support implementation of category strategies through new product development and various tactical and strategic category projects
• Ensure allocation of spend is aligned to strategic objectives and procurement master data is maintained in systems at all times (IFS/Ariba)
• Support and drive supplier negotiations to improve overall supply chain performance and mitigate risks (Assurance of supply, Quality, Service, Cost, Innovation and Environment) for NPD projects.
What we are looking for ?Comfortable in communicating and present facts and figures and convey information to others in an effective manner; positive, clear and to the point
• Enjoy working with systems and possess at least basic skills using Excel
• Strong ability to analyze, interpret and use facts and figures in an effective manner
• Organized and good at multi-tasking, comfortable working in several different product development projects at the same time.
• Good negotiation skills
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent degree), with strong academic records
• Fluency in English
• Minimum 3 year working experience in a commercial profession, ideally in Procurement
• Relevant experience with textiles and/or the fashion industry would be considered an important advantage
