Corporate Finance & Treasury (CFT) is responsible for TeliaSonera Group-wide financing and financial risk management including netting and pooling of capital requirements and payment flows. Within CFT
the sub-function Treasury Control & Support is responsible for Accounting, Back-office / payments, Middle-office / risk control, IT etc.
Job description
The Middle Office Manager is responsible for control & follow-up regarding CFT's compliance with & development of financial policies & procedures. Responsibility also includes follow-up & analysis
of Financial Net and Interest-bearing Debt & Assets; controlling & analyzing CFT-related financial risks, analysis & follow-up of Treasury reports & Counter-party risks.
Furthermore, the position covers assisting in the production of reports to the CFO on a monthly basis, as well as actively contributing to other relevant reports; structuring, implementing and on a
current basis reviewing IT-systems specifically related to CFT. You will act as a coordinator towards external parties in IT-related issues when needed.
The Middle Office Manager is also expected to assist in project work and back-up for others in CFT when needed.
Requirements
The job requires a University degree in Business Administration/Economics. Significant experience in the field of financial instruments as well as treasury controlling & financial accounting obtained
in a major international company or auditor firm is an advantage. Significant IT experience in general, including e.g. Excel and preferably also Treasury related IT-systems, is required.
You are analytical, careful and efficient as a person, as well as possessing a high ability to co-operate. And most important, you have a genuine interest of the Interest and Money Markets and are
willing to learn.
The position is located at TeliaSonera Head Office at Sturegatan in Stockholm and will require limited business traveling.
