hela Sverige The application support technician is responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support to our customers' dealers and fleet owners. You will be in close contact with our customers, production technical specialists, developers and our suppliers. The telematics solutions are dependent on a high availability which put great demands on attention and care in the daily work.
You will be performing in-depth code analysis and trouble shooting in the applications to identify and resolve problems as well as proposing changes to resolve the problems. You may in some cases also perform the changes in the code that are required to improve quality and performance. You will be working closely with our customers, their dealers and fleet owners. You will be responsible for evaluating and collecting information that is of relevance for the team, ensuring that the rest of the team gets all information that is required and relevant to the support.
We strive to continuously improve our delivery and to make it more efficient. It is therefore part of the responsibility to contribute with proposals how to achieve this. Your will have opportunity to be involved in the maintenance of the applications and will also be involved in the test phase of development and deployment.
Knowledge sharing and documentation are two areas of great importance within support and we put great emphasize on continuously increase our joint knowledge base in order to increase the resolution rate and speed within our team.
Professional profile:
You should have a master?s degree within computer science as knowledge and experience within the following areas are of great importance:
• Java (J2EE)
• Oracle database 10/11
• SQL
• Scripting
Knowledge and/or experience from UNIX or Linux (Red Hat) is an advantage.
You should be fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
