Technical Risk Management

About the vacant position:
This is an entry-level consultancy role which will involve participation in various oil and gas projects primarily for our customers in Denmark and Norway.
The consultant will carry out risk and safety analysis for our customers to protect human life and our customer's assets in various countries. Typically, we work with major oil companies operating in North Sea.
The work tasks will involve - but not limited to - following:
• Review & evaluate failure incidents from offshore platforms
• Search & establish failure frequencies for components in safety systems
• Use software to develop computer models for risk & reliability assessments
• Visits to customers and oil & gas platforms
• Prepare reports for the performed risk- and safety analysis
The ideal candidate should:
• Have MSc degree or higher in a relevant engineering program or natural sciences
• Be able to work both in English and one of the Scandinavian languages (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish)
• Good at structuring and writing technical reports
• Be able to travel to our customers around the world
• Be social, honest and create long-lasting relationship with our customers
