Job description
Leading projects is about being able to motivate, drive and engage people. As a project manager in IT Nordic you must be capable of creating a positive cooperation atmosphere as well as interacting with people in different professions, with different backgrounds and with different motives.
You will be in charge of and driving different projects for Skanska IT Nordic, mainly within IT-infrastructure. You will deliver project management and solutions, but also be responsible for requirements towards internal and external suppliers. The work will include interaction with several parts of the business, mainly the Nordic business units within Skanska and with the internal IT organization.
Our project method is PPS and most projects that we carry out covers everything from prestudy and implementation and handover to maintenance and operations. A close cooperation with maintaining units will take place on a regular basis.
We are looking for a person who
• has worked as technical project manager during a couple of years
• has a broad technical understanding for operation and maintenance
• has a genuine passion for systems and an analytical sense when it comes to judging demand, creating and evaluating solutions
• has worked in a structured way with system implementations
• has experience from documentation of requirements specifications
• has broad or deep IT knowledge about e.g Microsoft's server based system, AD/Exchange, WAN/LAN, SAN Desktop, SCCM, backup and databases
• has experience of projects steering model, e.g. PPS.
• has experience of business system
Your personal character will be important for us. We need you to be experienced, structured and have high communication skills combined with great engagement. We would like you to be a natural inspirator and skilled at leading group towards project objectives on time. Fore sure you are solutions- and result orientated and you can transform business needs and plans into demand specifications and well functioning solutions.
You are unprestigeous and easy to cooperate with, both towards customers and colleagues. You are capable of working independently, you take initiatives, provide suggestions and you are capable of prioritizing and lead a project for a complete process.
What we offer you is a stimulation job in a newly established Nordic IT organization. You will be part of a competent team of project managers taking on various kinds of projects with the possibility of in depth involvement. Your role will include many contacts, both with several parts of Skanska and externally with suppliers. Sometimes the contacts will take place in an international context. This means that we need you to bee fully comfortable at handling communication in both Swedish and English.
You have relevant university education or similar, but above all a broad knowledge and experience within IT-related projects.
