Technology Transfer Manager
In this position you will be responsible for the technology transfer from our pilot plant in Linköping, Sweden, to our high-volume manufacturing partners around the globe. You will be the key program management and technology interface to the manufacturing partners, generating and delivering all aspects of technology transfer. This person will fully own technology transfer, from kick-off through qualification at the manufacturing site and ramp-up. You will have the rare opportunity to lead the technology transfer of an exciting new technology and to work in a truly international environment.
Responsibilities
• Lead the technology transfer with multiple cross functional teams (integration, design, process, quality, test engineers) at Thinfilm and deliver printed technology manufacturing processes to our high-volume manufacturing partners.
• Responsible for technology and product qualification at the manufacturing site together with on-site team.
• Drive technology transfer methodology with requirements, milestone tracking, unit process output matching, DOEs, SPC, root cause understanding and electrical/physical failure analysis.
• Support the manufacturing site during ramp-up and through production manufacturing.
Requirements
• 5+ years related intercultural work experience in technology transfer to manufacturing sites in USA and Asia in a leading edge technology company.
• Strong intercultural competence. Team player with open communication style.
• Deep understanding of project management, transfer methodology and process integration in a semiconductor high-tech environment.
• Strong experience with taking new technologies to manufacturing.
• Substantial knowledge of printing / coating / semiconductor processes, devices, and materials' interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new fields quickly and to share knowledge in a hands-on fast-paced environment.
• Experience with printed electronics is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel and to stay abroad.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Materials/Chemical Engineering. Other candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered.
