Right now we want an individual to lead the technology strategy for Volvo Penta and coordinate Technology Development projects.
Challenge Description
In this role you will be the centre of technology strategy within the company. You will manage the Technology plan and roadmaps in a way that brings value to the company by continuously reviewing technology development inside and outside of the Volvo Group and make sure that it supports our business strategy of world leader in sustainable power solutions.
You will be responsible for the Technology Development management. Supporting and directing TD-project teams, manage TD portfolio priorities and total budget. You will take part in TD steering groups. It is thanks to your effort and leadership skills that the company regards Technology Development as effective and valuable.
You will lead the collaboration with academic institutions and manage our participation in external projects including public funding.
Department New Technology is located in Gothenburg and is responsible for New Technology Development and Innovation Management. It's a small department with a broad network and the task to make Volvo Penta Future Proof.
