hela Sverige As Technology Planning manager you are responsible to drive the technology planning process within appointed product areas and technology areas. This is a strategic position that incorporates both business and technical considerations in order to provide and secure the long term direction for Volvo CE technology development.You will be a part of the global Technology Planning team and participating in the work to identify and set the long-range Technology Plan for Volvo CE. The technology plan is a 12+ year view of the evolution of the underlying technologies that differentiate all of our products globally and new technologies that may support our long-term product positioning. You will also need to identify and react to market and technology trends, including predicting the technological direction of our competition and planning our response in advance of a competitive entry into the market.
Location: Sweden or Shippensburg US
Core Responsibilities
Drive technology planning according to Technology planning process
Contribute to the Technology planning process development
Implement the Technology planning process in own areas
Contribute to ranking of technologies
Drive risk mitigation on technology plan
Monitor technology portfolio in own area
Contribute to situation analysis for the technology development in terms of competitors, new technologies, market & business
Relations with academic society and other external technology planning stakeholders and technology development partners

M.Sc or similar
Technical knowledge and experience from Construction Equipment R&D
2+ years experience in Strategic work
