As part of Alstom extensive CO2 research and development programme, we are looking for a
Technology Manager who will be the key person in our global R&D team, responsible for development and improvement of our CO2 capture technologies. The position report to the Director CO2 Technology and Design and you will be located in Växjö, Sweden.
Responsibilities:
• Definition and performance of the technology
• Definition of technology fundamental or prescriptive parameters
• Ownership of technology simulation models
• Approval of fundamental design choices
• Training and guidance to the project teams worldwide
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree required : Ph.D. in chemical engineering with topic related to CO2 mitigation technologies
preferred
• 5 to 10 years of experience preferred in process systems engineering for an engineering service company or an
operating company in the hydrocarbon process industry.
• Experience in performing conceptual design
• Successful experience in a product development is a plus
• Interest in environmental issues
• Fluency in English
• Ability to interact with other disciplines
• Sense of commitment
• Effectiveness in communication
