Technology Expert for product development of color coated steels in SSAB Europe.
Your main role is to support product development in long-term research of paints and coatings for metal substrates. You will take part in diverse collaboration with different research partners such as universities, institutes and industrial companies.
We are looking for an active and self-steering person who has at least five years? experience in industrial R&D of paints, polymers, coatings or surfaces or similar experience from working in research institutes. We appreciate your knowledge of markets, customer needs and technologies in the area of prepainted steel. You need to be able to travel and promote the projects by yourself but also as a member of a team.
You should be at least Master of Science in technology or higher in your education and your studies are related to organic or material chemistry or surface engineering. Job requires fluent English skills, other language skills are appreciated.

Closest in-house collaboration you will have with sales, tech support, production and your colleagues in R&D. You will also execute a close collaboration with our raw material suppliers in chemical industry.
Vacancy is permanent and starting immediately.
Locality will be either in Hämeenlinna, Finland or Stockholm, Sweden.
