In this role it is necessary that you have knowledge of the needs of internal or external clients/customers. We think you have experience of deliver open source and/or cloud-based solutions and the ability to lead teams forward. You have the knowledge in following areas: * extensive knowledge of technology and toolsets specifically those used for development of the technology capability areas for which they are responsible* experience with agile development practices* intermediate knowledge of the disciplines of enterprise digital development and technical architecture * extensive experience with agile development practices, particularly owning and running specific agile events such as backlog refinement and sprint reviews* comfortable leading, directing, and empowering team members without formal management authority* excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with senior business-leaders and Technology Leadership As person you have extensive technical engineering knowledge and experience as well as practical 'hands on' experience in implementing technologies for their respective Technology Capability Area. In addition, you are able to take ownership, make effective decisions and deliver with excellent attention to detail and drive to resolve issues. Furthermore, you have intermediate stakeholder management skills, with the need to manage multiple, potentially conflicting needs and priorities at the same time. Being able to lead and guide both in house and third party teams is in your scope. You also possess extensive troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. You are appreciated for strong IKEA leadership skills, especially independent leadership, by using sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions. Last but not least you understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business. ABOUT THE JOBIn this role you will support the respective Technology Capability Manager in developing the technology capability area roadmap as well as lead, coach and develop members of the technology capability product teams. You will also maintain and deliver the technology capability area roadmap for their respective area, ensuring that it enables the Product Teams to effectively and efficiently develop and deploy their product and services.You will also:* ensure that required technologies, toolsets and supporting services are delivered as per the defined roadmap by making trade-off decisions to balance product team priorities, cost, and delivery timelines* support the respective Manager in developing the area roadmap, based on Capability Area feedback, changing needs and new technologies* ensure that they have a good understanding of the roadmap and vision for their respective area to inform the creation and prioritization of their backlog* actively manage their respective backlog including clearly expressing backlog items and prioritizing them based on agreed criteria with the Manager* be involved in sprint planning meetings to help provide clarity and elaborate features and user stories to help the team better understand the requirements and how success will be measured* define and deliver acceptance criteria and the 'Definition of Done' working collaboratively with the rest of the team* work with Product Owners to understand and qualify their needs and requirements, ensuring that they are considered and integrated into the roadmap as needed* act as a subject matter expert for teams, providing technology insight, context and additional information as needed to help understanding of what is required * managing stakeholders across Capability Areas to reach agreement on conflicting priorities * drive consistency in practice, process, toolset and architecture within the technology capability area* in close cooperation with the competence chapter leads, bring relevant people into the technology capability product teams to use their expertise and develop further skillsets * work across initiatives within INGKA Group, steering solutions towards the correct architecture
