Technician, UPS Mölndal

The Technology support group have a vacancy for a technician to be based in Gothenburg, with added responsibility for Jonkoping, additionally support in Oslo for holiday cover.

The main responsibilities include support for internal and external Customers, to include hardware (PC/Printer) deployment, and to support the networks (LAN/WAN) in both locations. Troubleshooting will also form part of the responsibilities.

We believe that you are highly motivated, adoptable to changes, have strong interpersonal skills and have a can do attitude towards work. We also believe that you can work in a high pace and still have an eye for details.

We would require the following skills and experience.

• A good understanding of internal and external systems in use in UPS. To be confident and competent in use of technology.
A Computer/technical based degree/diploma would be an advantage.
• Have good communication skills and be able to discuss Technical matters with Customers in a clear and precise way. Some support will be completed using remote tools so good and clear Telephone skills are essential.
• A proactive approach would be of benefit, with an ability to respond quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work unsupervised at all times and in a planned/controlled manner.
• Good written and spoken English and Swedish.
