hela Sverige Westermo Data Communications AB is now looking to recruit a technical customer and sales support person for customers in the Swedish and Finnish markets.
Description of Westermo
Westermo was established in 1975 in the village Västermo 30 minutes outside Eskilstuna. The company has over three decades grown into a global group with subsidiaries in seven countries (Sweden, England, France, Germany, USA, Singapore, China). The head office is still in Västermo. Besides own subsidiaries Westermo has distributors as partners in nearly 40 countries
Today Westermo is a world leading company engaged in manufacturing of network products for Industrial Data Communications. The company has gone from being a family-owned company to be part of the Beijer Electronics Group since 2008. All manufacturing and software and hardware related development takes place in Sweden. Production is in Västermo and development activities are both in Västerås and in Västermo.

Westermo offers customers with robust products designed for data communications in industrial applications. The products can withstand diverse and demanding environmental conditions, supports several types of redundancy as well as various media types. In addition to a robust design of the products, the software is also vital. Key features developed by the company covers the needs of for example, "Cybersecurity", "routing" redundancy "special industrial protocols" as well as network monitoring and configuration.
The Westermo company group consists of the parent company Westermo Tele Industri AB and its subsidiary Westermo Research & Development AB in Västerås and seven subsidiaries worldwide, the company's sales companies, including the Swedish sales company Westermo Data Communications AB in Västerås.
Westermo Data Communications AB is responsible for sales and customer support in the Swedish and Finnish market. The company consists of four sales representatives, two engineers in technical support and an administrator for orders and market communications as well as a director of the company.
As a Technically Customer and Sales Support you will
• Daily response to incoming technical queries from clients by phone and email
• Create and drive sales to new customers and broaden and expand business with existing customers through cooperation with responsible sales representative regarding technical solutions
• Perform technical tasks at customer sites such as training, installation, upgrading and troubleshooting
• Participate in customer events such as fairs, seminars and client meetings
• Internally pursue issues related to product customization, fault resolution and future products
• To provide documentation, demonstrators and other materials to facilitate sales and the use of the products
Other works tasks
To work towards agreed goals and key target.
Increase customer satisfaction and expand and enhance customer relationships.
Regular reporting to the company director and support systems (Supportlog / IFS / CRM / Membrain).
Actively contribute to implementing improvements internally.
The role includes traveling about 60 days per year of which around 30 is with overnight stay
Education Level
Engineer with a degree from a university / college of industrial automation and data communication
Experience and knowledge requirements
• At least 3-5 years experience in technical work automation/
IT/data communications with good technical knowledge
• Experience in configuring / commissioning and troubleshooting
• Experience in customer support
Meritorious experience
• Experience of providing training
• Experience in technical sales
• Experience in working for or against any of the Westermo's key customers:
Focon, ABB, LKAB, Atea, Xylem, Modul-System, Trafikverket, Fortum,
Atlas-Copco, Bombardier, Waterfall

Future
Westermo is now implementing an expansion plan that will allow the company to invest 175 million SEK over the next three years to strengthen the company's ability to grow and compete in the market. It will, among other things, result in an expansion of the number of employees by approximately 50 people in development and sales organizations.
