We're seeking a technical writer with excellent writing skills and a passion for technical documentation, based at Axis HQ in Lund, Sweden.

What you'll do here as a Technical Writer
As a Technical Writer at Axis, you'll shape the user experience by creating high-quality documentation that meets customer needs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to product development projects, delivering user manuals, guides, and other documentation on time and to the highest standards.
Your main task will be:
* Author and design accurate, consistent, and user-friendly content (instructions, microcopy, videos, and specs) for Axis' portfolio.
* Gather technical info from internal experts, simplifying complex concepts for users.
* Ensure documentation aligns with Axis' tone, plain language principles, and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and maintain best practices and guidelines with the team.
Who are you?
We're looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. You're self-motivated, independent, and excel at managing projects and meeting deadlines. With a passion for growth, you're eager to take on new challenges and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
To be a good match for this position you also need to be/have:
* A proactive self-starter and a problem-solver.
* No problem juggling many tasks simultaneously and love getting things done.
* An exceptional team player.
Required background and experiences
* Experience writing technical instructions in XML-based authoring tools.
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant for technical communication.
* Fluent English language skills.
We'd love for you to have/be
* Experience in studio and screen recording as well as post-processing for video production.
* Experience in project management.
* Experience in illustration work.
