JOBDESCRIPTION
The overall goal of the Technical Information Management team is to author, design, maintain and update accurate, consistent and user friendly technical documentation for Axis network products.
In this role you will be responsible for building a stable and future-proof structure in a CMS and also developing and maintaining this structure for effective, topic-based XML documentation.
You will be content creator for in-depth technical documentation, e.g. feature descriptions, which is used as a source for user documentation, training material and marketing material. This is done in close collaboration with software engineers, product management and other expertise in order to gather relevant information for structured and consistent documentation.
YOURQUALIFICATIONS
We believe you have a bachelor’s degree or similar that is relevant for technical writing. You have previous experience from comparable work and basic technical platform knowledge. We also believe that you enjoy writing and have the ability to understand highly technical information as well as a keen interest in exploring and learning more about our technology.
To function well in the role it's crucial that you have previous experience in content management and topic-based writing (XML) and excellent English skills. Experience and knowledge in Arbortext editor, HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and FrameMaker are also highly valued.
