We are looking for an experienced technical writer who loves making sense of complex products and structuring of technical content. As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly technical field, such as software development, computer science, or engineering.
As the first Technical Writer to join Kambi, you will be driving the efforts to set structures and processes needed to work more efficiently with technical documentation. Initially, you will also take on the challenge of review and update the existing documentation. We believe you to be an inspirational and engaging leader, who would love the challenge of building a team of technical writers in the future. You will be part of the Product Marketing Department, but work with a broad range of stakeholders, such as Product Owners, Developers, Designers, Sales, Partner Managers, etc.
The role
• Work with development, integration managers and partner managers to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for the information architecture.
• Learning and mastering the product details within your domain, by communicating with product owners, developers and architects
• Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, process documentation, explains business benefit, etc.
• Work together with the rest of Product Marketing and with Marketing Communications to create powerful and nice looking communications
• Analyze and manage existing and potential content and develop innovative approaches for improvement
• Produce and distribute tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
• Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
• Research and collect usability feedback from customers, designers, and 3rd parties
Who are you?
• You have a few years of experience in technical writing of software documentation for multiple audiences
• You have experience from API documentation (such as Open API)
• You are great at translating highly complex, technical information into digestible and easily understandable information for external stakeholders
• You have flawless English written skills
• You have proven experience in software development, computer science or engineering
• You make things happen and feel comfortable making decisions
• Interest in sports and sports betting is a plus

The job is located in central Stockholm and will involve occasional travel, primarily to our office in London.
