As a Technical writer, you will create, write, distribute and maintain customer manuals and instructions for our products within Train Connection Systems. In this position you will work with a broad range of products within train connection systems, both with couplers and gangways and you will work in close cooperation with departments within Engineering and other functions such as Procurement, Customer Service and Dellner Service.
You will be placed in Vika, Falun and be part of the Manuals team. You report to manager Manuals and Document administration.
Your main responsibilities
• Create illustrations using Autodesk Inventor and Adobe Illustrator
• Maintain and update technical documentation in our XML-based software Skribenta
• Plan and manage project work in respect to customer manuals and instructions
The successful candidate will have the following profile
Education & Job experiences
• Minimum of 3 years university degree or equivalent
• Preferably 2 years of experience within the area of the responsibility
• Preferably Engineering background with experience from technical writing
• Fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages are of advantage
It 's an advantage if you have knowledge in XML based software.
Personal skills
• Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with customers, colleagues, other departments and subsidiaries
• Open attitude with an energy to drive improvements and high motivation for the job
• Organised and structured approach with a good technical understanding
