We are now looking for a Technical Writer to join us in Gothenburg! You will be a part of a fast-growing and highly talented product team, and work collaboratively with product managers, UI/UX designers, and software developers to make our products even better and easier to use.
As Technical Writer you will produce high-quality technical documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. This includes user manuals, knowledge base articles, training manuals, in-app guides, and software strings for both technical and non-technical users.
Are you a geeky writer or a tech-geek who can write? You can be junior in the field; what matters most is a passion for writing, a willingness to play with software, and a desire to grow and learn from other talented technical writers!
Expectations & Tasks
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and tutorials
- Manage translations with 3rd-party agencies
- Maintain existing information architecture
- Coordinate documentation projects
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in writing
- Outstanding verbal and writing skills in English (equivalent to the proficiency of a native speaker)
- Ability to deliver high-quality documentation and pay close attention to details
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Systematic, autonomous, and results-oriented
- Enjoy learning new things and working with new technology in an innovative and creative start-up environment!
Extra Pluses
- Interested in renewable energy
- Experience from working in a B2B SaaS product team
- Experience with topic-based authoring
- Experience with Paligo, or other content management systems
- Fluency in German or Spanish
