As a Technical writer, you will create, write, distribute and maintain customer manuals and instructions for our products within Train Connection Systems. You report to Manuals & Design Support Manager. The position is located at our head office in Vika, Falun.
Your responsibilities
• Prepare exploded views from drawings and CAD-models
• Maintain and update content of XML-database for technical documentation
• Plan and manage project work in respect to customer manuals and instruction
• Administration of documents and Design modification notes
• Inform about new and revised documents within the organization
In this position you work in close cooperation with all departments within Engineering and other functions such as Procurement, Customer Service and Dellner Service.
The successful candidate will have the following profile
Education & Job experiences
• Minimum of 3 years university degree or equivalent
• Preferably 2 years of experience within the area of the responsibility
• Preferably Engineering background with experience from technical writing
• Fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages are of advantage
It 's an advantage if you have knowledge in XML based software.
Personal skills
• Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with customers, colleagues, other departments and subsidiaries
• Open attitude with an energy to drive improvements and high motivation for the job
• Well organised and structured with a good technical understanding
