We are looking for a structured and detail-driven Technical Writer with a passion for clarity and precision to join our iGaming studio in Stockholm. ELK Studios is a leading game developer in the iGaming industry, known for our innovative, visually stunning, and critically acclaimed game titles and IPs. We push the boundaries of gameplay and visual fidelity, setting new standards in the iGaming world.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Technical Writer, you will ensure that our games are clearly communicated to players and fully compliant across regulated markets worldwide. You will take on the responsibility for game rules, documentation standards, and supporting our production flow to ensure accuracy in every detail.
A typical work week as a Technical Writer consists of:
• Writing and maintaining game rules for our slot games while ensuring clarity and regulatory compliance. You will also define and uphold high writing standards and tone across all game-related content.
• Update and adapt existing games to meet requirements for new and regulated markets, which includes certifications and necessary rule adjustments.
• Collaborate across disciplines such as Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Compliance teams to ensure all documentation is accurate and aligned with the game's functionality.
• Support our Producers by helping manage documentation, requirements, and communication flows throughout the development process.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, ideally within iGaming, casino, or other regulated industries.
• Excellent English skills (written and oral) with a strong focus on clarity and precision is essential. Proficiency in Swedish is a plus but not required.
• Deep understanding of structured documentation and content standards.
• A high attention to detail, especially regarding rule logic and consistency across different platforms and markets.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced production environments
NICE-TO-HAVES
• Experience writing slot game rules or paytable descriptions
• Knowledge about regulated markets such as Malta, UK, Sweden
• Understanding of compliance requirements and certification process
• Experience of working within agile team
