Your role
You will be a key part in the Instructions and Catalogues team, where the team has the following main responsibilities:

Editing, creating and improving the publications for military aircrafts and its support system.
*
Deliver technical information for the Gripen aircraft and the support systems.
*
Develop and maintain processes for technical information.
You will be working with:
*
Editing, creating and improving the publications for the aircraft maintenance publications, publications necessary for the Gripen airworthiness.
*
Editing, creating and improving the publications for the Gripen Support and Training Systems.
Your profile
We want to strengthen our team with someone who is fluent in English and has a genuine interest in structure and usability. You should have a good communication ability and technical curiosity. You will work both independently and in close cooperation with colleagues within Saab. You are a flexible and open-minded person who has a positive approach to solving problems and you know when you need to take your own initiative.
Your educational background is less important but it is qualifying if you have an academic degree in engineering, cognitive science, technical writing or similar. You are fluent in both English and Swedish speech and writing and it is meritorious if you have experience as engineer. It is also an advantage if you have experience form working with databases and file management, or areas similar to that.
Experience from the following tools is an advantage:

Pumax CSDB or similar
*
Arbortext or other XML-editor
*
Confluence and Jira
*
Simplified Technical English and Microsoft Manual of Style
*
Teamcenter or other PLM system.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

The business unit, Gripen Sustainment, develop and deliver support solutions for the Gripen product. You will belong to department Support Solution Design within Gripen Sustainment. The department is responsible for maintenance engineering, technical information development, training materiel and project management mainly for military aircrafts.
