About the position:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to be part of our growing team and continue to show the third party developers how the UIQ Platform evolves with the latest technologies, standards and
UI design for upcoming mobile phone releases.
Your working tasks will for example include producing new user guidelines about software development on the UIQ platform, as well as keeping existing ones up to date as the UIQ product evolves. The
documentation can be part of our SDK or other specific software development kits that we produce. We always strive to work according to UIQ standards to produce documentation with the highest quality
to our clients.
Education & skills:
A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Interaction Design, UI design or similar. It is an advantage if you have a pedagogical and/or English language
degree.
You need to have good knowledge of the following:
• Experience from the software industry within the field of technical documentation, preferably from producing documentation for a wide audience
• A recent background within software development as software developer, interaction designer or similar
• Symbian OS experience is highly desired
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Excellent skills in English communication, particularly in writing
