Job Description:
The HCL Workplace Solution Design team is looking for a Technical Tester to our QA work in the Shared Services delivery.
You will be working in a smaller high-performance team based in Gothenburg/Torslanda. Our daily tasks are to write and execute test cases based on our customers need. For this you need a technical eye for details. You will also have to executed test cases written by other. Our mindset is to always test "around the problem" which means you will need to use technical troubleshooting in order to both find the issue and a purposed solution, which will make it easier to our developers and in the end, the whole delivery. Good contact with our developers and management is vital for this to work.
Professional/Technical Competencies:
• ISTQB certified
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Knowledge of testing both hardware (PC models & peripherals) and software
• Knowledge of requirements -> test cases -> execution -> problem/defect reporting
• Used to work in different environments (developer, QA and production)
• Windows/Windows Server, AD, SCCM, GPO and scripting
• Highly skilled in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
