ABOUT THE ROLE

To support our growth, we are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our Customer Success Team. Are you passionate about Renewable Energy? Do you have a technical background and a helpful and supporting mindset? If so, you might be our next team member!

Our Support team at Power Factors is not a "typical" Support team. Power Factors' philosophy is to work closely together with our customers. Our support function is, therefore, a crucial part of creating a positive user experience, and as a Technical Support Specialist, you will play an important role in being the bridge between us and our customers. With this perspective, the Support team is a given part of the Global Customer Organization of Power Factors which focuses a lot on teamwork and cross-functional cooperation.

To thrive in this role we think you are a problem-solving person, who quickly can learn new technical concepts and ideas, and have an inner drive to find simple solutions to complex problems. We also believe that you are service-minded, a very good communicator, and have a genuine interest in helping and supporting other people.

This role will be based at our Gothenburg office. We apply a hybrid work model (remote work from your home is possible). You will be part of a global growing team of passionate professionals who drives the renewable clean energy transition.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

- Assisting existing customers regarding support and configuration of our platforms
- Troubleshooting and resolving network related issues
- Managing data imports and data modification
- Troubleshooting platform problems
- Managing a queue of helpdesk tickets, ensure follow-up and associated deliverable
- Representing Power Factors in delivering efficient and timely solutions to our users' technical issues
- Being responsible for on-call to handle urgent issues outside of business hours, approximately once a month (rolling weekly schedule shared between the support team)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

We believe you enjoy working in a purpose-driven organization and that you thrive in an environment where you need to find creative solutions to challenging problems in a fast-changing context. This also means that you are effective at managing multiple tasks of varying complexities, work well under pressure, and are driven by continuous learning and growth. Specifically, we are looking for someone with the following background:

- Bachelor or Masters degree from a relevant field
- Minimum of three years of experience with delivering technical support in a software development company
- Experience from working with integration-heavy SaaS offerings
- Experience with SQL databases

Experience in networking, routing, and common network protocols

Interest in renewable energy, specifically wind and solar

- Enjoy learning new things and working with new technology

Solutions-oriented and service-minded

Fluency in English, both written and verbal
