As Support & Forum Manager, you are responsible for monitoring online feedback channels, responding to customer service issues and building online community support processes. This is a strategic as well as a technical role that will work closely with the core engine team.
Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for solving customer problems, a deep passion for technology in general and Defold in particular and possess experience with support roles and forum management.
What you will do
Monitor and moderate conversations in the Defold forum and other online channels and answer and follow-up on any support questions that come up.
Report to key stakeholders on type of support errands, conversation trends, content ideas and overall community status. Use knowledge of community trends and support issues to impact product roadmap. Work closely with the core engine team to keep up to date with new features and functionality of the product.
Skills to create thrills
A solid background as a developer, preferably in the games industry.
A couple of years of experience in customer service and support
Skills in problem solving, judgment, critical thinking and decision making.
Ability to follow-up and finish customer support issues
Ability to tolerate stress and handle multiple projects and re-prioritizations while being adaptable, flexible, persistent and versatile.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing
