The area: Enterprise
Our Enterprise team focuses on integrating Beepsend's products and services into small and large businesses. Consisting of high-achieving engineering, sales and marketing professionals, we work with a vast array of partners such as operators, aggregators and providers as well as end-customers.
Enterprise Technical Solutions/Support Engineer
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide support and resolve customer cases for Beepsend Enterprise Platforms such as web portals, SMPP and SMS Gateways, Premium SMS and bulk. Our products are constantly in development so work is performed in system configuration, network setup and diagnosis as well as in pattern- analysis, statistics and datamining. Technical Support Engineers will also provide technical assistance and remote troubleshooting support as part of our support organization. You will also work closely with engineers, product managers, and sales engineers to improve the product's vision and to make Beepsend's customers successful.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support and resolve customer cases for Beepsend Enterprise products in system configuration, network setup and traffic-diagnosis.
• Provide technical assistance and remote troubleshooting support.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and sales engineers to improve
our products, tools and services to make Beepsends customers successful.
Requirements:
• BS degree preferred in Computer Science or related technical degree.
• At least 2 years of industry experience in technical support, professional services or technical sales support.
• Linux/Unix system administration skills with understanding of basic network administration and general knowledge in database-design, SQL and normalization.
• Good understanding of Web-related standards, such as HTTP, HTML4.01 & 5,CSS and the jQuery framework.
• Hands-on experience implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting web-based applications, database- and web servers.
• Outstanding account management, follow-through and problem solving skills, resourcefulness, attention to details.
• Basic knowledge with programming/scripting (Java, shell & PHP5) as well as experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is required.
• Communication skills (English and Swedish), both verbal and written are required.
• Positive attitude and a "no-prestige, hands-on"-approach.
