Are you ready to grasp this unique opportunity to join our tech support team at HBO Nordic? We are now looking to hire an experienced and analytical Technical Support Coordinator.
Role description
You will be a part of the Tech Support team which is responsible for service monitoring of all HBO platforms and engage in early issue investigation and troubleshooting. The team functions as second line support for all production related issues and manages and prioritizes escalations of reported issues to our Customer Support agents and from internal parties.
As a Technical Support Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
• Analyzing logs and identify issue severity, escalation and follow ups
• Managing and coordinating troubleshooting sessions with different vendors
• Coordinate and manage meetings with relevant stakeholders when required
• Creating clean documentations and technical guidelines
Key Qualifications
• BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT or relevant subjects
• Industry experience from Telecom, Media or Streaming business/domain
• Worked with server log analysis and related software such as Wireshark
• Experience with issue tracking and reporting in different systems (Jira, Zendesk or Remedy)
• Familiarity with QA and testing
• Fluent English skills for oral and written communication
In addition, the following areas give additional merit
• Experience working with development or in a DevOps environment
• Wide-ranging technical knowledge about different applications (web, mobile, game console, TV, set top boxes, etc.)
• Knowledge of monitoring systems (e.g. Conviva and Apica) and/or billing systems (e.g. Zuora)
As a person, you are analytical, flexible and responsible. Being service minded with commercial mindset as well as having good communication skills are other success factors.
