OD-CHE (Compact Heat Exchangers) is part of the Operations Development organisation with the main focus on product group BHE, FHE and PHE. Our key responsibility is to secure mid and long-term development regarding manufacturing technologies and the factories’ manufacturing capabilities and competiveness. We are a project driven organisation with high demand on time and quality regarding project execution in all project phases. To succeed with this we need to understand our customers’ daily life and need for development. Your Challenge As Senior Technical specialist you  will work in a team with 10-12 other specialists in our core areas pressing, assembly, bonding, testing or in generic technical competence. You are responsible for the following; * Drive technology development, in specified areas. * Networking with others in Alfa Laval to develop the expertise area. * Be involved in networks/tasks outside of Alfa Laval to strengthen AL’s capability within the expertise area. * Develop, motivate, communicate and train within own expertise. * Use and promote tools and methods within the expertise area. You will work in line with the Production System and OD Project Concept. Your role as Technical specialist will be to effectively lead the Technology Development in CHE towards set targets and new challenges together with other functions in Operations and in the Product Centers.  Your profile Generic; * Master of science or equivalent experience * 5-10 years of relevant experience from a production/manufacturing company * Open and communicative * High integrity and strategic perspective * Ability to drive implementation through/together with line management Technical  Specialist; * Knowledge of Technology Development from concept  to realization in projects with 5-10 project members * Write Technical specifications of equipment * Design competence and work with risk analysis and design approvals * Open mind, able to sell and question in a constructive way We offer The Technical specialist is a senior position and can be an opportunity for a person with great interest of Technology development and the details in the areas that make the difference.  We see a great advantage if you have any experience in our core areas.
