The Strategy & Concepts section works with bringing clarity to the strategic direction and proposing new ICE concepts by analyzing business needs, monitoring external activities and working closely with product owners in the R&D group. The section also drives Advanced Engineering projects and ICE attribute performance in industrialization programs. Organization wise we have two teams: "Complete Engine Performance" and "Complete Engine System- & Design Studies". We are now looking for a technical specialist in fuels & oils for an open position in the Complete Engine System- & Design Studies team.
What will you do?
You will monitor and analyze global fuels & oils regulation and standards development. It will be your responsibility to make sure that we are up to date regarding planed and decided changes in legal and standardization organs. You will be our representative external organizations and advice in future strategical memberships.
We expect you to pay interest in, and stay updated in, long term development of sustainable/ low GHG fuels and competitor activities. It is also important that you engage with and support our sustainability team in your area of expertise, especially when it comes to developing and continuously refining our LCA methodology for use-phase emissions.
You will be keeping our fuels- and oils strategy updated and recommend investigations to ensure product endurance and performance in planned fuels- & oils updates.
This position will give you the opportunity to build a strong network within Aurobay and further develop your network in external organizations. You will continue to build on your technical skills and take an active part in the development of sustainable powertrain solutions.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have at least Master degree within Mechanical engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechatronics or equivalent. Due to seniority of the position, we are looking for you who have at least 5 years or more working experience in automotive domain and product development knowledge.
You have expert knowledge of fuels & oils for internal combustion engine applications and previous work experience in regulatory & standardization organizations. Meritorious work experiences include combustion engineering, engine design and testing, engine calibration or general powertrain competence.
You have an already established network within the area of fuels & oils. You are fluent in English and you can travel if necessary.
We are looking for an enthusiast, who investigates and benchmark because of personal interest in the field.
You are solution-oriented individual with an analytical mind-set and feel comfortable to make and lead the presentations. You have a genuine interest in understanding the details behind technical requirements and legal demands.
Your high integrity and professionalism engage and encourage people for successful cross functional work progress. You are motivating collaboration and drive change and implementation with a creative approach.
