Within the Section Closures we are responsible for all Technical specifications, Timing & Cost for the parts that we develop within the Section.
We are now looking for a Technical Specialist, Door complete
The structure of a complete door is very complex and is influencing a lot of Attributes such as weight, safety, NVH, ergonomics, solidity etc. The responsibility is divided between several design areas and the parts are designed/manufactured in a lot of different technologies.
To achieve a top position regarding attributes / functionality the complete door needs to fulfil the Product Attribute Profile. A door has to be developed jointly between several design areas, kept together by a specialist
Main Deliveries and responsibilities:
Work as responsible for the interface development in the complete door by.
Develop design guideline for product programme.
Writing & maintaining long term complete door strategies.
Lead design interface activities during concept and design phase.
Lead and support implementation of Design guidelines, methods, processes and tools to evaluate door complete.
Conducting best practise activities
Create input and deliveries in Advanced Engineering projects
Take the lead in critical decisions making processes regarding door complete.
Be a Go-to person.
Support in specific "fire fighting"- activities
Building net-works with relevant persons in the area, within VCC and external partners
Develop and coach the specialist successor in the area
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience in the functional area
Minimum 6 years of experience in the specific area, from pre-development to program implementation and running production.
Broad and deep practical and theoretical experience in the field Side door Engineering
Is a recognized name and a "go-to" person.
Strong proven leadership skills.
Has a broad contact network within VCC and outside VCC.
Academic degree in engineering or similar experience.
Good skill in speaking and writing in English.
