Statkraft is Sweden's fourth largest electricity producer with over 250 employees spread across the country. We have facilities from north to south with our headquarters in Stockholm. Statkraft operates 54 hydropower plants and four large wind farms in Sweden. We produce approximately 7 TWh per year, which is enough to supply around 500,000 Swedish households with renewable electricity.
We engage in electricity trading and portfolio management and own four district heating networks whose plants are powered by renewable energy sources. Statkraft also owns Baltic Cable, Sweden's only electricity connection to Germany. Additionally, we have a large project portfolio in both onshore and offshore wind, solar, and hybrid solutions as well as hydrogen production, and we are constantly looking for new projects that can contribute to the green transition of society.
