Axis is looking for the right person to fill an open position as a Technical Services Representative to join our Technical Services team within the Axis sales organization.
This position is located in the city of Lund in the southern part of Sweden, and in close proximity of Malmö and Copenhagen. WHAT WILL YOU DO As a Technical Services Representative you will be in contact with both end users and Axis partners to handle technical support mainly via telephone and chat for the Middle European region in German and English. You will also work in our online helpdesk system, which is another way customers can contact us. You might also work as a back-up for other regions.
Your focus area will be mainly small size installations, helping our customers with the setup, configuration and troubleshooting to guarantee the best user experience.
Besides having a technical foundation, you need to be able to take good care of our customers. Customer care is one of our biggest focuses!
Your main tasks will be to:
Provide both administrative and technical support via phone, chat and Web portal system to end-users, resellers/partners, and distributors Work with a case driven system where you have the final responsibility towards the customer for concluding and closing your cases At a professional communication level, maintain a good dialogue with the customer throughout the resolution of a support case Join efforts with  the sales office in your region to ensure both after sales and pre-sales support for small installations Help customers in creating RMAs for the assigned regions and deliver first class administrative support Provide regular feedback and suggest pro-active actions about common technical issues and processes related to small business installations and services.
At your disposal you will have senior technical services engineers, a team of specialists, and an administrative coordinator providing you with product specific assistance and general help in the role.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR As a Technical Services Representative you must have excellent communication and problem solving skills with the eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Proactive and self-motivated, you'll also be committed to constantly seeking new ways to improve the customer experience. To be successful in the role you need to be energetic and self-propelled with a passion for technology.
Required skills and experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in IT with an emphasis on customer support Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Excellent time management and organization skills Relevant experience in technical troubleshooting and/or in administrative position Understanding of networking Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS & Office Pack Knowledge of applications such as for video viewing, recording, or editing is a merit Must be able to work well with others as part of a team Excellent communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written If you speak Dutch is a merit
TECHNICAL SERVICES TEAM The Technical Services team is responsible for the support in for Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
