hela Sverige We are looking for a customer and team oriented person in the position as Technical Service specialist. Your main task will be to technically support our local service units and external customers as well as our own organization. Warranty handling for the factory products is also part of the task that involves technical investigations and root cause analyses.
With your technical know-how, high quality awareness and your structured way of performing assigned cases, you will make sure that all cases/projects are well handled in a professional way, both from a communication and a technical perspective. All work is case-managed in a common database. You will be part of a team with seven colleagues in the technical support organization at the Global Technical Support Center in Västerås. If you like building relations and providing great customer service on a high technical level, this is the right position for you.
You are a mechanical or electrical engineer, with some years of experience working with electrical machines, design or service. In addition, knowledge of vibration analysis is a merit. You are a team player who constantly looks for opportunities to improve the way we work, in order to find better ways to serve our customers and obtain the highest level of service. To communicate in English is essential for this position, whereas fluency in Swedish is a plus, and preferably you are familiar with SAP. With your positive attitude, you contribute to a positive working environment, as well as having our customers as first priority.
You will be part of the service organization for ABB Robotics and Motion, Motors & Generators, in Västerås. We provide service to the global installed base of high voltage rotating machines. At ABB, we are proud to offer you an environment where we value personal and professional development. After Sales & Service - Part of the Motors and Generators business unit. After Sales is responsible for supporting the global installed base of machines delivered from the unit Machines. This responsibility means offering products and services throughout the machine's life cycle with a focus on commissioning, preventive maintenance, spare parts, replacement equipment and technical support. The unit has about 40 employees.
